As I write it is the 30th of June which signals the end of Pride month and a half of year of 2025 gone by. What a difference six months can make when you are fighting for objective reality.
In April, The UK Supreme Court ruled in favour of For Women Scotland in their case against the Scottish Government, laying down judgement that the words “woman” and “sex” in the UK Equality Act refer to a biological woman and biological sex.

In Ireland the “best boys in class” as The Countess Founder Laoise de Brún refers to them, are roundly ignoring one of the most significant judgements in the UK in recent times and instead they are hurtling headfirst into the biggest medical and social scandal of our time.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin recently met with an LGBTQIA+ organisation promising in earnest “ to advance equality” for this group of people. Alarm bells are ringing; the advancement of equality for these groups mean a ban on conversion therapy – this means Psychiatrists, Therapists, and any Health Care professionals must “affirm” a child who thinks they are the opposite sex, and it means gender recognition for children who are 16 and under.
In the same meeting an Taoiseach Micheál Martin spoke about marriage equality being a “high point for openness, toleration, as if the Country had arrived”. The cherry on top might have been the shoehorning in of the Gender Recognition Act, which was never put to a public vote or referendum. In fact, as proof, ask your neighbour or local shop assistant if they have heard of “The Gender Recognition Act”. You could even ask them if they know male paedophiles and other violent males are housed in women’s prisons – they will think you are mad. Micheál Martin bemoaned the “coarseness of language” in this debate.
Below is a letter The Countess sent to an Taoiseach Micheál Martin about the UK Judgment on 3rd June 2025. There is no “coarseness” in our language.
We await reply.
